It’s no surprise that a celebrity who loves books would want to use their platform to discuss them. And if so, what are they like?Ī bit of research shows that yes, actually, there are a good number of celebrity book clubs out there. Plus I could vaguely remember hearing that Sarah Jessica Parker has her own imprint?ĭo other celebrities have book clubs? I wondered. This membership card made me stop and ask myself, What’s the deal with all these celebrity book clubs?įirst, Oprah’s Book Club, then Emma Watson launching Our Shared Shelf, and now Reese’s Book Club. It’s - I’ve become a card carrying Reese’s Book Club member. When the app came out, I got curious and downloaded it, at which point I was provided with my very own digital membership card. And once I enjoyed one, I thought maybe I’d enjoy others, too. Then, I started reading the picks because, well… some of them had really pretty covers.
